How to configure Outlook 2013

 New Accounts

In Outlook 2013, go to File , click Add Account , then select Manual setup or additional server types at the bottom of the wizard and press next. On the following screen select POP or IMAP and next.
Fill in the following details as per the below screenshot.

  • Your Name: The name you want to appear for the account

  • Email Address: The one you have set up under [Account > Email Accounts] in you Actinic backoffice

  • Account Type: POP3

  • Incoming./ Outgoing mail server:

  • Logon Information: The Email and password that was setup for the account in your Actinic backoffice

Click More Settings and go to Outgoing Server and check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.

Now head to the "Advanced" tab and check that the settings match the below screenshot.

- Incoming Server: 110

- Outgoing Server: 465

- Type of Encryption: SSL

- The Delivery section can be adjusted by you to your liking. We recommend using the above settings to leave a message on the server, but please be aware of the webmail storage capacity as breaching it may reject incoming message due to the inbox being full.
 Configuration details

In Outlook 2013, head to File and click Account Settings and Account Settings in the dropdown box.

In the popup that appears, double click your email account and then "More Settings" .
