Customers Reviews - Settings

The principle of customer reviews is based on sending an email to end customers to ask them to rate your site and / or items.
Customer reviews can be automatically published or subject to moderation.

This feature improves :
  • SEO as it brings text content as well as updates. The rating is retrieved by Google and is displayed in the search result. (please see final paragraph)

  • conversion rate as endures the customer and breeds trust.

  • customer relations (loyalty) as it offers "real" ratings.

You can activate this feature by going to [Marketing \ Customer reviews], Properties button, Modify buttonand by ticking the Activate customer reviews box.

IMPORTANT : This feature is included in all new performance subscriptions.

Regarding previous subscriptions, its activation triggers the implementation of this feature. Over 10 orders per month will automatically trigger a billing of £20 / month. There is no upper limit to the number of orders.

 
 General Tab

This page is dedicated to the setup of this feature.

  • Release : allows you to choose the reference date for sending the request for review : either the date of the order, the blling date, or shipping date.

  • Minimum amount (Inc VAT) : Only orders above that amount will be taken into account by the request for review process.

  • Shipping time lapse : This setting specifies the number of shipping days bewtween the request for review after ordering or generating the invoice (up to 60 days).
    We recommend at least 5 days notice in order to ensure that the customer has received their order.

  • Number of items : This setting allows you to choose the maximum number of items displayed on the request for review form.

  • Notification : You can choose a specific email to receive notifications of new reviews. If you do not fill in any email, you will receive notifications on the email provided in the general properties of the site.

  • Publishing : You can choose how the review is published : either immediate (automatic) or deferred (after validation on your part).

Warning : in case of deferred publishing, you have 72 hours to send a moderation request before the review is published.

This tab is used to set how the information is viewed on your site : shopping-satisfaction.com

 Logo Tab

It allows you to insert your company's logo.
We recommend inserting an image up to 190 pixels (width) by 80 pixels (height). The logo will appear at the top of the request for review, in the notification email and in the dedicated certification page on the Shopping Satisfaction site. (see previous screenshot).

 
 Quick Overview

The "Quick Overview" button of the component allows you to view the rendering on the site Shopping Satisfaction.

 Rendering on search engines

The reviews are integrated into the source code of the pages of the product pages via micro-data. To get an idea of rendering of the reviews when searching in Google, we recommend you use the following link and fill in the URL of an item
