With this service, you will never be subject to charge back risks. In short, if the buyer decides to stop payment, the merchant will always receive a payment.  Test It!

If you have followed all of the instructions laid out in this page, your site should now be able to accept Skrill payments.

However, don't take any risks. Your future sales are at stake! It is essential to perform at least one real transaction to make sure the entire process works. Assume that if you haven't tested the process, it doesn't work!

The following is a simple and complete testing procedure:

For this test, you are going to need the help of one of your customers or friends. They will need to create a personal Skrill account.
  • Create a test product in your catalog that costs 1 GBP.
  • Create a new user category that you will call "Skrill Test".
  • Create a user with the email address of your friend and associate this user account to the new category "Skrill Test".
  • Lastly, create a shipping option at 0 GPB (to test while exchanging the least possible amount of money) and select the "Skrill Test" category for the "Validity - User Category" section. By doing so, this shipping option will only be proposed to this user.
Your friend can then place an order on your site for the test product and will be offered the free shipping option, which represents a 1 Pound transaction. Take advantage of this test transaction to become acquainted with payment tracking in the administration space of your Skrill account.

After you have finished testing, remember to delete the 1 GBP item and "free" shipping option that were created for this test.
Your site is now ready to accept Skrill payments.

NB: Your site must be open to the public to perform the test above.
